Ah, the infamous shiny, high-waisted American Apparel disco pant. You either love ‘em or you hate ‘em.
Not a day goes by where I don’t see several girls wearing a pair of AA’s disco pant. High-waisted and curve hugging, the disco pant comes in an array of colors, often paired with a crop top or a tied-at-the-waist button up shirt during the summer time. They have a tendency of being not-so-flattering from the front, emphasizing a camel-toe (yes, I said it), but are a viable alternative to jeans and other pants.
I’ve tried them on out of curiosity but was disappointed by the fact that they flattened the top of my butt, yet gapped at the waist. They’re definitely made for a certain body type – apparently not mine! I like the shiny, thick fabric, but I’m not the biggest fan of them for myself. I don’t mind them on other people, but at the same time, I am definitely tired of seeing everyone wear them.
What do you think of American Apparel disco pants? Do you wear them?
