Words can’t really describe this spread on Victor Cruz. Ladies, enjoy the view.
Since I must try my best to remain professional, I’ll begin by talking about how the point of this Victor Cruz photo spread was to show that the pinstripe suit has found a new life in the 21st century. Instead of looking like the quintessential baggy, mobster uniform of the 80’s, GQ makes the point that new slimmer, understated styles are creating a better name for pinstripe styles.
Victor Cruz provides a better-than-excellent portrayal of how these suits can work well on a man with an amazing body, excellent bone structure, perfect smile, etc. I’m clearly getting carried away.
In typical GQ fashion, the styling is perfect – with the exception of that last red beanie/teal pants/blue sweater/pin stripe blazer combination – not sure what they were thinking when they put that one together. I especially love the grey suit with pink shirt & blue accents, and the classic blue/camel suit combination. I think it’s safe to say that Victor Cruz was born to wear a suit, but I guess his Giants jersey will have to do in the meantime.
