The JC ‘Everly’ is a fresh take on ankle boots – what do you think, is the swag right?
I’m a big fan of straps, cutouts, and a comfortable boot for the daytime – when all three elements are combined? Kind of the closest thing to short-bootie heaven you could get. These are definitely not for everyone, as they do air on the rough-and-tough side that JC can so perfectly capture, but they’re cool nonetheless.
I like the fact that these could transition you throughout all seasons. It’s become common to wear short boots during the warmer months with shorts and dresses, so the cutouts on this pair make them that much more acceptable for the summer. As you’ve probably noticed (maybe by being in school already), the summer months have gone and left us, so you’ll have to figure out a way to pair these with your skinny jeans, sweaters, and other Fall fashion – tough job, right?
The only sad news is that these boots are from JC’s Fall 2013 (yes, you read that right) collection, and will be only available for pre-order starting November 26th. Also, they’re $195 – not sure how I feel about that price for a JC bootie, but maybe I’m just upset that I’ll have to wait to wear them until next year.
What do you think of the JC ‘Everly’ boot? Let me know in the comments section.
