Tick, tock, tick, tock. Remember when just about every watch would make those noises? Well today in the 21st century, it’s rather amazing to see just how much watches have transformed. Watches were just meant to tell the time, but have evolved immensely. Today we have digital watches, traditional watches, watches that can make a phone call, watches that are able to take pictures and so many more that have incredible features.

Musicians today especially rappers tend to “ice out” their watches frequently. It almost seems as if it’s a rule sometimes. You hear some rappers talking about how many carrots they can fit into their watch, as if it’s a competition. Watches for rappers have become one of the more significant accessories to their ” bling bling ” game. ¬†Some of the more popular brands for watches are Rolex, Hublot, Audemars Piguet, and so many other luxury watch manufacturers.

In the sports’ world, we see so many different inventions for watches and innovations. It’s crazy to even think that today, we have watches that not only can record your heart rate but also track your amount of steps, record your run times, and even give you your location. Next thing you know, we’ll have a watch that will be able to predict how far into your workout you will be passing out.

What is next for watches? Maybe centuries from now, we will see watches that will be able to teleport us to different locations. Why doesn’t someone make a watch that would inject insulin into someone’s blood when necessary. How about we make watches to improve the quality of life for humans. What do you think?
