Swag Picks: Wilfred’s Fall 2012 Collection

by on October 18, 2012

Wilfred, sold exclusively at Aritzia, is really killing this Fall with a collection of beautiful pieces that are great worn alone, or built upon with statement accessories.

I’m a huge fan of Aritzia as you probably know by now, so I thought it was necessary to share the Fall collection of one of my favorite brands with the iLikeSwag family. Wilfred doesn’t disappoint with luxe, comfortable fabrics in very ladylike shapes that are sure to up your style to the next level of sophistication. Here are a few of my favorite pieces from the collection.

I’m literally obsessed with the Wilfred Free Parleur Dress (far left) – I can see it looking relaxed during the daytime with short booties, and amazing dressed up with a statement necklace and some heels. The Giulia Blouse (second from left) gives you a classy take on the snakeskin trend, in a sheer button up style. I absolutely love the Triomphe Pant (second from right), in a slim sweat pant style that’ll give you a very casual, but pulled together look. Last but not least, the floral print Sabine Dress (far right) is the perfect way to brighten up your Fall wardrobe.

I can tell you firsthand that the Perle Skirt (left) is extremely nice in person, made of high-quality silk. Pair this with a blazer and you’re good to go for a job interview. On the right, the Wilfred Free Baume T-Shirt is a more feminine take on the baseball tee, made of soft fabric and in two-tone grey.

I love the Gamine Dress (left) because it’s such an effortlessly stylish piece – pair it with black booties or a wild-print shoe and you’ll look instantly ahead of the fashion game. The Libellule Pant (second from left) is something I’ll definitely be picking up – the slim style is very flattering on the leg, and that adorable bow draw-string is just the cherry on top. The Alara Pant (second from right) is another must have; the white piping down the side is a nod to the tuxedo/track pant trend, while the color blocked ankle is another fashion hit. Finally, I’m all about the Rebelle pant – I’m not sure if it’s faux leather or real leather (I’ll get back to you on that), but these are definitely a wardrobe must in either the navy green color or black.

Unfortunately Aritzia’s online store is not yet up, so in the meantime, head over to your local Aritzia to pick up Wilfred’s new collection.
