The annual Angel Ball was held at Cipriani Wall Street on October 22. The great cause was almost outshone by some seriously killer fashion – take a look at some of my favorite looks of the night after the jump.
Angela Simmons looked absolutely stunning in this fuchsia one-shouldered gown, that she paired with cobalt blue accessories. I really love this bright color against her beautiful caramel skin tone – she looks very classy but still youthful.
Supermodel Irina Shayk stunned in this black jeweled Roberto Cavalli gown at Monday’s Angel Ball. She paired the dress with breathtaking emerald jewelry, including those knockout earrings, and a demure up do. It’s annoying that someone could be as beautiful as Miss Shayk.
Like Irina Shayk, model Natasha Poly wore a Roberto Cavalli gown, this time in a bright orange hue. I love the color paired with her blonde hair, but I wouldn’t say this was necessarily the best look of the night. Regardless, she looks beautiful and the dress gets my approval.
Looks like the Angel Ball was chock full of supermodels! Bar Refaeli took a nod from Angela Simmons, rocking a deep fuchsia dress. Although the style was simple, the high slit and one-shoulder style really highlighted Bar’s best features – her whole body! I like that she shied away from statement earrings, but stuck to bangles instead. And props for the chalky white nails!
Ashanti was hands down one of my favorite fashionistas of the night – she looks so elegant and stunning in this black sequined gown, while still flirty and sexy with that high slit and cutouts at her chest and back. Her makeup and hair were beyond perfect – rocking the deep plum lip trend and some seriously gorgeous loose curls parted to one side. Nelly was by her side, also in all-black, at Monday night’s event. Definitely a well-dressed and adorable couple.
Another leading lady was Solange, my favorite Knowles sister, who stunned in this beautiful Badgley Mischka gown. She was listed as many columnist’s best dressed woman of the night, and it’s not difficult to see why. Her makeup was absolutely stunning, and that dress showed off the younger Knowles’ figure very nicely. Makes me love Solange that much more!
We all have to give props to Kanye West and Kim Kardashian, who looked really, really good at this year’s Angel Ball. Fresh from their romantic Italian getaway for Kim’s 32nd birthday, the couple wowed in surprisingly not matching, not all-black outfits! Kanye looked so dapper in his classic black-and-white suit with a slightly oversized bow tie, and Kim showed off her gams and chest in this Balmain blue dress – my favorite shade of blue, I might add. Kim kept her makeup simple with a side fishtail braid – and is that a slight smile on ‘Ye’s face?! He knows he looks good.
What do you think of some of the fashion at this year’s Angel Ball? Who was best dressed? Let me know in the comments section.
