Brand Spotlight: Visantine Collective

by on November 13, 2012

Take a look at the masterfully created Fall 2012 collection from Brooklyn-based Visantine Collective and their creators, Ivy Thompson and Maria Piessis.

If you don’t know about Vistantine Collective – they’ve been featured on Daily Candy, for goodness’ sake – now’s the time to catch up. Created by FIT student Ivy Thompson and Maria Piessis, Vistantine Collective sources all of their materials from the confines of big, bad New York City. The collection is definitely a little athletic, a little cozy, and a lot new age-feminine, chock full of pieces you need to get your hands on for the winter season.

Below are a few of my excerpts from Visantine Collective Fall 2012.

A thick, structured jacket with contrasting fabrics and an exposed back zipper? I need this.

A lengthy, pleated mustard skirt paired with a slouchy back-slit blouse.

The brand’s structured sweatshirt takes the athletic trend to fashionable heights, while the knit vest is sexy meets cozy.
