2 Bloggers/Fashionistas You Should Know

by on February 11, 2013

It’s been a while since I put the spotlight on individuals in this particular category but here it is. Today we take a look at two of New Jersey‘s most beautiful and stylish young ladies. I’ve been truly impressed by their abilities and senses of style so I decided to share it with you guys as well. Enjoy!

  • Shelly George of Naked2FashionShelly is a real life Wonder Woman. Residing in New Jersey, Shelly isn’t your average 20 year-old. When she’s not pursuing a degree in Public Relations, Shelly can be found partaking in many fashion related activities. Shelly and her friends are firm believers of making their very own garments. Aside from sneakers and shoes, just about everything seen on the gorgeous young lady is custom made. Other than utilizing her fashion prowess, Shelly is a very talented steel pan player. Originally from Trinidad & Tobago, it’s only right that she’s able to play one of our most coveted instruments. After a sit-down with her, I realized that she was gifted with many intangibles that can propel her to great heights of success. Definitely someone to look out for in the tri-state area especially being that she’s currently working on a couple of projects. Make sure to visit Naked2Fashion.
  • Katherine Mateo of Purrrr – Katherine¬†happens to be one of Shelly‘s running mates. She’s a big fan of being in front of the camera but enjoys being the camera woman as well. When she isn’t getting ratchet to A$AP Rocky (she even manages to channel her inner Rocky in the image seen to the left), she’s pondering her next design. She too creates her own clothes and make sure it’s different from current trends. She’s also a chameleon when it comes to her styles as she’s able to rotate between different ones. Combining her adaptation skills with her creativity, she creates a style that you can’t find anywhere else. Her blog is themed after the “Kat” in her name and while it’s only a blog, it’s one of the most organized and appealing websites that I’ve ever laid my eyes upon. They say curiosity killed the Kat but you won’t know until you Visit Purrrr.
