Dolce & Gabbana Faces A Two Year Sentence in Tax Evasion Trial

by on May 31, 2013

This isn’t good news at all. Lately, designers Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana have been on trial regarding a tax evasion case. This isn’t their first run-in with the law as this has been going on for some time now since 2011. However the case originates from the 2004 purchase of Dolce & Gabbana and DG to a holding company owned by the designers.

Authorities believed that this transpired  as an attempt to avoid having to pay steeper taxes. It’s evident that this is a very sticky situation and things finally seem to be hitting the fan as the judge has called for a strict 2 1/2 year sentence for both designers. Although they are facing all this heat, they have relentlessly denied all allegations of committing such travesties.
