While we don’t know much about the brand itself, Favela Maison‘s clothes speak volume. Their collection of punk-goth inspired street wear is a great foundation for them if this is only the beginning.
In their selection of hats and shirts, while typically cut, their fabric choices, font styles, and graphic designs infer a French descent and rebellious drive (check out the bold “69” incorporation in their “Mademoiselle” and “Monsieur” crew neck sweatshirts). I didn’t think I would ever be able to positively review my plaid pants from my 4th grade wardrobe, but seeing Favela Maison along with several other designers’ 2013 visions, perhaps I was wrong. I love the “Marq Rise Red Tartan Oversized T-Shirt” as well as the simple Eiffel Tower design on the “Monsieur Invert Tee“. Make sure to keep up with the Favela Maison‘s progress and upcoming collections – it could become another popular European high-end street wear brand in no time.
