Grand Entrance of ROME & TALE

Focusing on the timeless fundamentals of handcrafting durable materials, ROME & TALE has made its presence known in the luxury goods market.

gold_chainWhile the brand is young, they have established a long-lasting ethos to build upon. ROME & TALE’s introductory line draws inspiration from Roman art and architecture, which has been artistically influential to humans for millenia. ROME & TALE‘s collection is concentrated on basic accessories (necklaces, bracelets, and rings), but the execution of these pieces is far from bland – each piece of the collection is a unique and eye-catching work of art in itself – and of course, as Trinidad James knows all too well, you can never go wrong with all gold everything.

The ‘Shield’ Chain is a refreshing take on the common bead chain with as much complexity as there is simplicity. The ‘Virtus’ (Virtue) Bracelet is an instant-classic that could be compared to major jewelers today such as Tiffany & Co., or Cartier for a more refined taste. However, more prominently than those companies, R&T adds a unique and abstract quality to create a collection filled with one-of-a-kind pieces.

ROME & TALE‘s rings are our favorite part of this collection, showcasing similar foundations adorned with specific animals atop. In 18K Gold and White Gold, these rings should be familiar to every New Yorker. The designs of the ‘Wealth’ and ‘Knowledge’  rings are inspired by the Wall Street Bull and the guardian lions of the New York Public Library, respectively. By using these NYC landmarks, R&T has flawlessly and effectively crafted two luxurious and appealing products.

Despite ROME & TALE‘s youth, the brand has already made a large statement. With more hard work following their already established direction, The ILS Mag will surely not be the only one talking about these guys. Bravo, ROME & TALE.
