Lacoste Collaborates with Several Brands for 80th Anniversary

by on June 9, 2013

Popular European brand, Lacoste, is approaching 80 years of creating some of the most exemplary prep and sportswear yet. With this, it’s no surprise that several other high-end brands want to chime in on this milestone in collaboration with the company to create rare collection pieces that will commemorate this year.

Lacoste is currently celebrating in Paris as a major vendor of the annual French Open pairing up with several other companies including  Vueve-Cliquet, Goyard, Fouchon and Hermes. Each of these designers are French and have individually paired up with Lacoste creating beautiful and collectible bags, luxury foods, and handbags with the well-known Lacoste signature alligator.

Most of these designers will only make a total of 80 replicas of each item to ensure originality, while the other designers’ pieces will go directly to the Lacoste archives.

You can check out some of these items simply by watching the French Open Finals today or online, but the chances of you having a piece as your own are unfortunately slim to none.
