Toshi’s NYC hosts Nema Kamar once a week to hold live performances by artists from the New York area. Last week, while the show occurred as usual, there was a surprise guest appearance by Grammy-nominated artist Raheem DeVaughn.
Nema’s Boom Boom Room is a hang out for celebs, athletes, and the well-connected to experience quality music from local artists. This week’s NBBR headliner was Mateo, who was followed by Zae, Spade, Mackey and Anthony Flammia. Raheem DeVaughn showed up later for a surprise set, which included a birthday serenade for Arielle Hill, while he co-hosted with Lydia Caesar.
The NBBR was sponsored by DreemKaCHer, an up and coming networking app for artists, entrepreneurs and visionaries to share their goals through self-promotion. Give the app a download if it interests you and be on the lookout for upcoming Boom Boom Rooms.
