Hermès has become one of the most recognizable fashion houses because of their ability to maximize the quality of their extravagant and simple designs. For Spring and Summer 2014, we are seeing the simpler side to Hermès, but with the same level of integrity that we have come to expect.
Just one of the many intriguing items that the collection features is this grey one piece jumpsuit – sort of like work wear mixed with high fashion. And on the opposite end of the style spectrum, included is a silk shirt with the classic Hermès signature rope patterns. This collection features plenty of slim-cut European tailoring, yet maintains a very comfortable vibe.
Fashion Week is a hectic time in which each brand strives to set themselves apart from the rest, down to the venue in which they display their collection. Hermès chose to host their show at a pretty unorthodox location: Bordeaux‘s Cordeliers. The choice of location for the show coincided nicely with the toned-down collection, as they were both all about classiness.
